Girl, I do not get the point of her.
Now, the single mother thing had me like hhmmm, she could hve a small point. Maybe if father's were more active.
But, she takes it to the extreme.
Now the relating to the black side thing had me stumped.
I am going to have to read that part somewhere to see what she wrote and what her stupid point is.
Personally, I am black that is why I relate.
I am ashamed to admit this but I agree 100% with what Ann Coulter said.
It came off as an attack on single mothers and biracial kids which was wrong but the facts are not disputable.
Sharon and Mike: Coulter represents the thing I can't stand most about ultra conservatives. They identify one fact, take it out of context and beat it to death, so by the time you look at it again, it looks nothing like the original fact.
According to her, despite the efforts that you and I are putting into the care and raising of our children, they are future rapists and murderers instead of future heads of state. How the heck does account for the success of Barack Obama, who was raised by a single parent?
If you are to buy into her mindset, you are to believe that no child raised in a two-parent home EVER goes astray and the magic incredient to this fact is that both mother and father live in the same home. Without really taxing myself, I can think of 5 people that I grew up with, raised by both parents, who have spent most of their adult lives in and out of prison.

Well put! Demon Coulter also never takes into account those unfortunate children who are in abusive households, and for whatever reason, the mother stays and further perpetuates the problem, ie, creating daughters who seek out abusers for husbands, as well as sons who then become the abuser. I strongly believe the devil is Coulter's daddy! But don't take my word for it, go to Youtube.com and see for yourselves.

Ann Coulter is a 47 year-old woman, unmarried and no children. She's not credible to write about half of what she has written about but then again as she says "she's just stating the facts... but I will say this...
With the exception of cases of rape, for the most part, women are in control of their bodies. There are numerous contraceptives and I cannot understand women who bring children in the world who they cannot feed, who they will not send to school, who they will not surround with positive roles models - male & female.

Your point is well taken. Most folk by now know that you can put a bunch of numbers together and make it mean anything that you want it to mean. But if you actually look at the situation, you will find that there is no "simple" answer to poverty or crime and no "single" factor that accounts for these issues.
MsKnowItAll: 47 yo, single, with no kids? She outta be shamed to even take on this issue AT ALL. She knows not what she speaks.
